Miranda Kerr’s Superfood Smoothie That Will Change Your Morning Routine Forever!

Ok. I’m just gonna go ahead and say it. I am a huge fan girl when it comes to Miranda Kerr! She is adorable and is doing amazing things right now in the health and wellness space. She is basically Gweneth Paltrow’s BFF when it comes to living a healthy lifestyle inside and out! Ahh ok- the gushy part is over.

One of my many guilty pleasures lately is looking up celebrity diets. I mean, come on. They look amazing and are aliens that never age! We need to know their secrets too!

I recently came across Miranda Kerr’s skincare line called Kora Organics which is jam packed with products that have amazing ingredients. It was awesome to learn about her daily routine for external maintenance but I still wanted to know more. What does this angel eat on the day to day to stay trim and keep that amazing glow?

A lot of what I found was pretty basic.

Salad here.

Some salmon and avocado toast there.

An apple for a snack.

Nothing I haven’t seen before. But then I found the recipe to her secret morning smoothie…
The ingredient list alone totally blew me away! Before I slip back into fan girl mode, I’m gonna share with you the exact recipe I found, why it’s the ultimate superfood smoothie, and my personal results after trying it out every morning for 7 days.

Water from a young fresh coconut (or half a glass of coconut water)

1/2 a glass goat’s or almond milk 

1 tbs acai powder

1 tbs goji berries

1 tbs spirulina

1 tbs raw cacao powder

1 tbs maca powder

1 tbs chia seeds

1 tbs raw vegan protein powder

1 tbs coconut oil

Method: Pour all of these lovely ingredients in a blender and hit it.

Acai Powder

Results From My 7 Day Experiment

Even though on the 7th day I didn’t wake up 2 feet taller, or on the cover of vogue, I still experienced some pretty amazing changes.

My usual routine definitely includes a smoothie first thing in the morning, but I never tried a smoothie like this that was so damn nutrient rich!

When all was said and done after my first week, this is what I noticed:

  1. My skin looked AH-MA-ZINGGG. I have extremely acne prone skin but didn’t have any blemishes or breakouts on my last day of the trial.
  2. I felt good. My mood was super positive and my creative energy came back as well!
  3. I lost 2 lbs! Granted I was eating pretty healthy overall during this week but I didn’t have crazy cravings throughout the day! Felt completely satisfied.

Overall I highly recommend anyone curious to try out this superfood smoothie. For me it was a perfect and quick go-to breakfast that will continue to stay on my menu for a long long time.
